Thankfully, preparing for counseling is a simple process. First, you’ll want to get an idea of how therapy will fit into the schedule of your life. For some clients, a once-per-month appointment is perfect, while others prefer weekly or bi-weekly schedules. Secondly, it’s important to think about what life events may be troubling you before you get to therapy, if possible. This can help us more easily identify what sort of focus and approach will help you the most.
